About Us

How it all started
with a simple pebble.

We are Nathalia and Juan, a couple who loves the outdoors and the sunny South Florida weather, especially when there is a ton of sunshine regardless of windy, humid or dry days. We started this journey in 2025 because we saw that there were not many options of what we were looking for of the type of sandals we needed for our short trips. We appreciate every little free time we have to head to the beach, walk the Hollywood Broadwalk on Ocean Drive, or climb out of our boat onto the Intracoastal islands to enjoy the desolate and pristine waters of Miami.

We still remember the first time getting off our boat and walking onto the sandbar full of pebbles underneath our feet. Although it was a ton of fun, our feet hurt like crazy from the punctures of the sharp little pebbles. It literally felt like being stabbed by needles. Yes, it was arduous and painful. Once back on dry land, we researched for some type of special shoes that we could use on land, soak them in the ocean, that would make us look classy and sporty and that would also be able to handle our many trips to the sand bar.

We could not really find what we wanted. We needed something that could handle the salinity of the water, the rough terrain and all the elements while being comfortable and looking good when complemented with our outfits.

JUAN - THE DIPLOMAT

Being nice is Juan's born gift. It allows him to be charming and build strong relationships with suppliers and factories. He enjoys a cup of coffee and will never say no to one. He really enjoys a deep conversation, not matter the topic.

NAJA - THE SMARTS

"Serious Naja", as we call her because she rarely smiles but just grins, though it does not seem like it af first. Extremely smart, speaks multiple languages including Mandarin and Japanese, a skill that helps us stay ahead of the curve.

CO-FOUNDER

NATHALIA - THE EXECUTIONER

She smiles and will be the nicest person in the whole world. But when something has got to be done, leave it to her and it will get done. She has a talent for making it work, a valuable skill for our team.

Our Promise

What began as an Idea became a reality - ours began years ago when we met and became friends, although none of us knew we would come together again and build a working relationship.

Now, we have come together to bring alive Tronpo - a name that brings forward a part of us with every sandal we share, encased with creativity, authenticity and love!
